  After many years of work, ARA's Heritage Committee was instrumental in obtaining Council approval of Madison Ave. as a Heritage Conservation District. Council's decision (September 30, 2015) has been appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board, now the new Local Planning Appeals Tribunal (LPAT).
