ARA engagement: Application was submitted to the City without consultation with Councillor or residents; Councillor Cressy established Working Group of ARA, Harbord Village RA, other neighbourhood groups, and City staff to work with the developer (State Building Group) to revise the proposal. At fourth meeting held 3 December 2015, State advised that they are taking the application directly to OMB through mediation. ARA is strongly opposed to height and uses (predominantly studios and 1-bedroom units). ARA was a Party in the OMB mediation which led to an agreement approved by Council in April, 2017, setting maximum height of 98 m.
As of April 2019, the application is proceeding through Site Plan Control Approval and construction is likely to start later in 2019.
