Description
At its meeting in November 2015, City Council directed Community Planning staff to review current and future development pressures within the Davenport Triangle block, and work with Transportation Services to review the capacity of Designer's Walk Lane and Urban Design staff to consider urban design and built form guidelines on top of the existing Planning framework. ARA's P+Z requested this study in September, 2015, and actively participated in community consultations. The Study was completed in late 2017.
City Council adopted the Davenport Triangle Guiding Principles in March 2018 which include a height limit of nine storeys for new construction in the Triangle.
