ARA engagement: P+Z participated in a community consultation on 30 November 2015, hosted by Councillor Cressy, and met subsequently with the developer and architects. P+Z is advocating a midrise Avenue form (6-8 storeys). Due to concerns with circulation along the main access lane in the Bedford/Dupont/Davenport Triangle, P+Z asked the Councillor’s office to request City Planning to conduct a built form and traffic and circulation study for the entire Triangle. This study is underway and should be finalized by early 2017. Preliminary Report submited to Community Council on 23 Feb., 2016.
1 March 2017: The developer appealed to OMB since the City did not respond within the statutory period. A mediation hearing was set for 6 April; ARA was a Party supporting the Davenport Triangle Residents' Association. Agreement was reached at mediation which Council approved in April, 2017.
