Description

After many years of work, ARA's Heritage Committee was instrumental in obtaining Council approval of Madison Ave. as a Heritage Conservation District. Council's decision (September 30, 2015) has been appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board, now the new Local Planning Appeals Tribunal (LPAT). After extensive negotiations between the City, ARA, and appellants, an acceptable resolution was reached and was tabled at LPAT on 7 December 2018 for approval by the Tribunal.
