ARA engagement: Because of mounting repair and operating costs, the Church decided to call for proposals from developers for the redevelopment of the site. TAS DesignBuild's offer was accepted and the sale of the property is currently going through various legal steps to enable transfer of the property's title.
TAS approached P+Z in the early fall of 2018 to discuss the project generally, and agreed to ARA's suggestion to establish a Working Group of RAs in the area, the Church, and TAS to address the following issues: building and site uses; massing and heights; streetscape and public realm; traffic, transit and infrastructure; heritage; sustainability; and community benefits. The first meeting of the Working Group was held at the end of January 2019; the next meeting will likely be held in May.
